Daurian Redstart (Phoenicurus auroreus)
This is an adult male. The white wing patch helps distinguish this fairly common winter visitor. These redstarts are classified in the Old World Flycatcher family, Muscicapidae. They are unrelated to North American redstarts which are in the Warbler family, Parulidae. Canon PowerShot SX60.
